Every morning, you make a choice before you say a single word.
Before the emails. Before the school run. Before the meeting, the workout, the call you have been putting off. You open your wardrobe — and you choose what to put on your body.
Most of us do this on autopilot. We reach for what is comfortable, what is clean, what fits the day we think we are about to have.
But what if that choice was one of the most powerful ones you make all day?
The Garment Is Not Neutral
I have always loved fabric. The softness of cotton against skin. The fluid weight of linen. The way a well-cut piece changes how you hold yourself — how you walk into a room, how you breathe.
But it took me years to understand what I now know with complete clarity:
What we wear carries something of us.
Not metaphorically. Energetically.
When I began creating the first pieces of Omae, I did not want them to simply be beautiful. I wanted them to have a soul. I wanted the woman wearing them to feel, from the moment she put them on, that something had shifted — not outside of her, but within.
Because getting dressed is an act. A silent declaration. An intention made physical.
The legging you pull on before your yoga practice. The cap you wear on a long walk. The strap you use to deepen a posture. These are not just objects. They are the beginning of a ritual.
Repetition Shapes Reality
For a long time, I repeated the wrong things.
I am not enough. I need to do more to deserve this. I am not ready.
I did not always say these things out loud. But I thought them. I felt them. I carried them in my cells. And — by a logic that is not magic but simply vibratory — life kept reflecting them back to me. Situations where I had to prove myself. Relationships where I felt I was always falling short. Projects where doubt arrived before momentum.
And then I came across a sentence that changed everything:
"You don't attract what you want. You attract what you are." — Wayne Dyer
I started to observe what I was repeating. The words I chose. The thoughts that returned. The gestures I made automatically. And I asked myself: what if all of this was my internal programme? What if I had the power to rewrite it?
So I began, very gently.
Each morning, instead of rushing into my day, I placed my hand on my heart and said:
I am safe. I am guided. I am exactly where I need to be.
I did not believe it at first. But I repeated it anyway. With tenderness. With patience. Like reassuring a child you love deeply.
And something changed.
Because conscious repetition is an act of faith. And faith is a muscle. The more you feed it, the stronger it becomes.
This is why every Omae piece carries a mantra. Not printed as decoration — embedded as intention. A short, strong phrase you wear, read, feel. And which, over time, becomes you.
Getting Dressed as a Ritual
Most of us get dressed the way we check boxes. Efficiently. Unconsciously. Already halfway into the day before the day has begun.
What if you slowed it down?
Not dramatically. Not with ceremony. Just with a breath.
Before opening your wardrobe, ask yourself: What do I need today? Strength? Lightness? Confidence? Calm?
Choose a piece that supports that vibration. Read the intention on it. Let it be a quiet agreement between you and your day.
You are no longer getting dressed to be seen. You are getting dressed to reconnect with who you want to be.
This is what I believe with everything I have: when you choose consciously what you put on your body, you choose what you are invoking. The garment becomes a portal — not to another life, but to the version of yourself that is already there, waiting to be remembered.
The Three Pillars of Every Omae Piece
When I design, I work across three dimensions — because the body, the movement and the mind are not separate. They are one continuous intention.
Body — Designed to enhance.
A piece that makes you feel present in your body. Not self-conscious. Not performing. Simply at home in your own skin, in every posture, every movement, every stage of your day.
Movement — Engineered to perform.
Technical fabrics chosen for durability, freedom and comfort. You should never need to think about what you are wearing. Your clothes should disappear into your practice — so that nothing stands between you and what you are doing.
Mind — A mantra to remind.
Every piece carries a phrase. Chosen like a prayer. Worn like a promise. A quiet voice against your skin that says: you chose this. You are here. You are enough.
These three dimensions are not a marketing framework. They are the reason Omae exists. Because I believe that when a woman feels good in her body, moves freely, and carries a clear intention — she becomes something extraordinary.
Not louder. Not more visible. Just more herself.
Your Clothes Are Listening
Objects hold energy. This is something I understood long before I could explain it.
I remember the first yoga mat I ever used. I had chosen it without thinking — navy blue, with almost lunar reflections. At every session, I cried a little. And each time, I felt that the mat was holding something for me. As if it was gathering my sorrows and beginning to transform them.
Our objects have a memory. And they can be programmed — not through magic, but through intention.
The yogis know this with their malas. The healers know it with their crystals. Our grandmothers knew it without naming it, when they lit a candle for a wish.
This is the approach I brought to Omae. To create objects with beautiful souls. Silent companions that support, remind, invite. When you look at them, you recentre. When you touch them, you feel. When you use them, you realign.
A yoga mat is not a piece of foam. It can be a sacred threshold — a space where you come, every day, to deposit yourself, to find yourself, to reconnect.
The intention you bring to it is what makes the difference.
What You Repeat, You Become
The mantra of our first collection is Ritual is my Refuge.
Not because ritual is an escape. Because it is a return.
When you step onto your mat, when you pull on your Omae pieces, when you take those first conscious breaths before the day begins — you are not retreating from your life. You are coming back to the centre of it.
And from that centre, everything you do carries a different quality. Your decisions land more clearly. Your energy goes where you choose. Your presence — in your work, in your relationships, in your body — becomes something you inhabit rather than manage.
What you wear is a mirror of your inner energy.
Choose it with intention.
Wear your intention.
